Monster Puppets

I made these monster puppets for my niece and nephew this Christmas. Again, I used all scrap felt and my surger this time, as well as a bit of heat bond. My 10-year-old housemate loved them, and showed us what making out was with the assistance of the monster monster tongues. Unfortunately the little kids were not interested in them at all. Hopefully they'll come around at some point.

Felt Birdies

My dear sister said she wanted "decorations" rather than actual "art" for Christmas this year. I spent a while trying to figure out what that meant, and these birdie and owl hanging felt creations are what I came up with. I love a crafty challenge anyday, and this was a good one. I used only scraps of felt and heatbond, as well as a single piece of ribbon for each. It was a delightfully crafty and inexpensive holiday!

PLEASE Shut the GODDAMN Door

I made these paper prints in addition to wood plaques. They were inspired by my father, who was so kind as to cut down 20 pieces of nice finished plywood on which I printed (those pics forthcoming). He loved the plaques for his Christmas gift as well.
